Which cooling unit is best for my home?

This all depends on what you’re looking for.

Evaporative air conditioning provides a cost-effective cooling solution, and this manner of air conditioning installation can be up to 50% cheaper than other methods. It’s also cheaper to run and maintain. However, this system doesn’t work as well in humid conditions.

A reverse cycle air conditioner is more expensive to install, and results in a higher power bill when used, but it provides both cooling and heating options, and works well even in humid conditions.

So it really depends on your budget, and what you want for your spaces. Get in touch with us to discuss the right option for your home.

Can I get a quote over the phone?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide quotes over the phone, as there are too many variables involved in selecting the right option for your home. To accurately size and cost your evaporative cooling solution, we need a floor plan that allows us to size your unit correctly, so we can accurately map out the space and materials we can work with, and other variables that may alter the price.

However, we provide no-obligation quotes at no cost to you, so feel free to go through the process with us.

Can I change my existing air conditioning solution over to another type of air conditioning system?

When it comes to air conditioning installation, we can only replace like-for-like. So for example, we can’t change an evaporative air conditioning unit with a reverse cycle system, as everything would have to be replaced.

How do I change my evaporative cooling unit to a reverse cycle air conditioner, or vice versa?

Replacing your evaporative cooling unit with a reverse cycle system requires a complete overhaul of your cooling system. It’s not just a simple air conditioning installation, we need to change the size and location of your outlets, add in new ducts to your home, and add in an entirely new motor and air conditioning unit.

Why isn’t my air conditioner cooling my house?

Make sure that you’ve got your air conditioner set to the right settings. Check on the control panel/remote control that you’ve got the cooling option (snowflake symbol) selected.
